We are pleased to announce the 2026 SDGs-IECS Visiting Scholars.
The Visiting Scholars Program brings leading international researchers to U of T to advance interdisciplinary scholarship aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). During their visits, scholars engage with the U of T community through research collaboration, knowledge exchange, and public engagement.
Visiting Scholars participate in a range of academic and community‑facing activities, including public lectures and seminars, research meetings, and discussion sessions with undergraduate and graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. They also contribute to knowledge mobilization through publications, discussion papers, policy briefs, and other knowledge products that support impact beyond the university.
This group of visiting scholars reflects a diversity of disciplinary perspectives and global contexts, underscoring the program’s commitment to collaborative, solutions-oriented research on pressing sustainability challenges.
