Following the Ontario government’s recently announced changes to tuition rates and the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP), higher education policy researcher and SDGs@UofT Fellow Elizabeth Buckner joined CBC’s Ontario Today to discuss its impacts. A professor with the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Buckner explored the shift in emphasis from grants to loans, how and which students will be affected and the impacts on the Ontario university sector.
