We’re pleased to announce that on June 27, University of Toronto’s Executive Council has approved a new extra-departmental unit (EDU:C). The institutes for Resilient and Inclusive Societies and Ecosystems (iRISE) is a tri-campus unit that will be hosted at U of T Scarborough.

Ethical AI in Education: Webinar Recording
On February 24th, the SDGs@UofT Student Advisory Committee hosted an engaging and timely webinar on Ethical AI in Education, featuring Dr. Pascal Tyrrell, Associate Professor and Director of Data Science. Research Themes
Four research themes have been identified that will be leveraged to create a research agenda to address complex intersecting problems reflected in the SDGs and inform future global goals. The SDGs@UofT research themes addresses multiple SDGs and illuminate ways in which they interact to prevent or enable sustainable development.
