Valerie Shiu

Valerie Shiu is a dedicated advocate for sustainability and community engagement, with roles ranging from Transition Events Assistant at the International Student Centre to Board of Director member for the Women and Trans Centre at UTSC. Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Environmental Science, she's adept at scientific research and interdisciplinary learning. As the Program Manager for the ELEVATE Disability Mentorship Program, she crafted policies, arranged workshops with disabled experts, and catered job search strategies to support disabled job seekers. With her diverse skill set and passion for positive change, Valerie is poised for impactful contributions in her future pursuits.
