Tien Pham is a PhD student in Educational Leadership and Policy at OISE, the University of Toronto, specializing in Comparative, International and Development Education and Educational Policy. Her research focuses on climate change impacts on education in lower- and middle-income countries. As a SSHRC CGS-D Award recipient, she investigates environmental education policies and their effects on educational systems globally.
Tien serves as a Research Assistant on multiple projects examining environmental and sustainability education, including UN-affiliated initiatives monitoring climate communication and education. Previously, she worked as a lecturer at Vietnam National University, Senior Associate at Fulbright University Vietnam, and Managing Director at a Vietnam's Scholarship Foundation.
With master's and bachelor's degrees in International Relations and Political Science, Tien brings a rich international perspective to sustainable development in education.
