Teya Knightingdale

Teya is an undergraduate student at the University of Toronto St. George, pursuing a degree in Finance and Environmental Economics with a certificate in Sustainability. As Co-president of the Sustainable Innovation Group at UofT and a Director in Rotman Commerce Sustainable Business (RCSB), Teya is guided by her passion for integrating business and sustainability to inspire change. She previously served as a Sustainability Ambassador, sharing the university’s positive developments, and highlighting areas of improvement. Her commitment to sustainability was further enriched during a summer abroad program in Costa Rica, where she explored renewable systems, climate change mitigation, and economic challenges, all while engaging with the SDGs. These experiences have equipped Teya with deeper knowledge and the ability to communicate across the “languages” of finance and sustainability, enabling her to bridge gaps and facilitate critical conversations. Teya is committed to making an impact through these bridges.
