Stephanie Long

Undergraduate Student

Stephanie Long is completing her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough in Health Studies – Population Health, with a double minor in Psychology and Statistics. She holds experience as a research assistant at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education under the Kirkham Lab on projects involving acute and chronic exercise, calorie restricted, intermittent fasting, and ketogenic nutrition approaches. She also has experience using education and research to advance the full participation of children, youth, and adults with learning disabilities as a previous tutor under the Learning Disabilities Association of York-Simcoe. As a current co-op research assistant at the ReSTORE Lab, she plays a vital role in enhancing and improving practices within both occupational therapy and scientific research. She is also a recipient of the 2024 SDGs@UofT Catalyst and Synthesis Grant, with research focusing on the recruitment and retention of equity-deserving groups in the skilled trades, in partnership with the Ontario Electrical League.
