Sage Kim is an H.B.Sc candidate double majoring in Health Studies and Physiology. Committed to improving healthcare access, she focuses on addressing structural barriers in policy, service delivery, and research. Sage advocates for data-driven approaches to better understand these challenges. She is currently involved in projects that reflect this mission: optimizing transplant care systems, leveraging AI to enhance clinical decision-making, and improving scheduling equity for personal support workers.
Drawn to the Sustainable Development Goals for their emphasis on intersectionality, she sees the SDGs as a powerful framework to advance equity across sectors. Sage believes real impact comes from embedding equity and empathy into every level of decision-making.
As a member of the SDGs@UofT Student Committee, she supports initiatives that foster applied learning, interdisciplinary dialogue, and solution-oriented programming. Through workshops, research showcases, and campus partnerships, Sage aims embed the SDGs into everyday student life.
