Rafael Grohmann

Rafael is an assistant professor of media studies at the University of Toronto Scarborough, with a graduate cross-appointment at the Faculty of Information. He is leader of DigiLabour Initiative. Currently, he is principal investigator of the SSRHC-funded research Worker-Owned Intersectional Platforms (WOIP), an action research with delivery workers and tech workers in Brazil and Argentina. He is also researcher of Fairwork and Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab projects. He is one of the editors of the Platforms & Society journal
