Jorg Liebeherr

Jorg is a Professor in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Department of
Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Toronto.
For more than 30 years, he has conducted research in the area of
computer communication networks with an emphasis on self-healing
networks. His research team recently developed a low-cost low-power mesh
network technology for in-situ environmental monitoring of large
geographic areas. The technology has been used for monitoring of methane
emissions at landfills in Ontario. He holds a PhD degree in Computer
Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
