Cynthia Whitehead

Dr. Cynthia Whitehead, MD, PhD, is Vice-President of Education at Women’s College Hospital and an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. With an MD from McMaster in 1987 and a PhD from the University of Toronto in 2011, she actively contributes to the Family Health Team at Women’s College Hospital. Dr. Whitehead's research explores various aspects of medical education, including globalization, outcomes-based education, and interprofessional education. She is engaged in teaching, curriculum design, and educational administration, and has provided consultations internationally.
