Arjun Yanglem

Department of Political Science

Arjun is a 4th-year, double majoring in Public Policy and Psychology. He currently works for the Ontario Energy Board and NATO Canada. He is a researcher with the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy, Rotman Commerce, and the Department of Political Science. He has worked with the Ministry of Education, UTSC's Green Path Initiative leading the inaugural Global Vision and Leadership Certificate cohort, and as an Intercultural and Global Programs Assistant with the Centre for International Experience wherein he lead the establishment and execution of the South Asian International Support Group, Intercultural Learning Program, and the Indigenous Learning Program.

He has enthused a lot of passion to several clubs in senior-level executive positions. He is currently serving as the undergraduate representative on multiple high-level governance bodies across UofT, representing over 14,500 undergraduate students, ensuring student voices were actively incorporated into governance and decision-making processes. Arjun's expertise lies in creating experiences that are student-centered, inclusive, and forward-thinking. His unique approach to programming - blending real-world issues with student empowerment - has created a lasting impact on the UTSC community and beyond.
