Amy Bilton

Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering

Dr. Bilton’s research lies at the intersection of developing theoretical design and control techniques and developing new physical electromechanical systems. Applications of her research include water purification systems, desalination systems, and renewable energy. Her current work is focused on deployment of a newly developed solar-powered water purification system in the developing world. She also serves as the Director of the Centre for Global Engineering (CGEN), which conducts courses and facilitates large research initiatives to advance the SDGs.
