Dr. Batomen is an Assistant Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, Epidemiology Division, He is fundamentally motivated by understanding the distribution and the determinants of early mortality and morbidity. Hence, its motivation to work on injuries, which are the leading cause of death, disability, and health care costs for people under 40 years of age.
