Throughout my life, I’ve cultivated strong values in human rights, leading to a deep commitment to global health. My time with the Ministry of Health Singapore underscored the importance of robust health policy frameworks in building resilient and inclusive health systems. Also, as a member of a Southeast Asia-focused international research collective, I conducted a project evaluating HIV treatment processes in the Philippines - an experience which deepened my dedication to improving healthcare in underserved regions and highlighted the value of interdisciplinary collaboration.

I am pursuing a double major in Biochemistry and Health & Disease, which equips me with a scientific foundation for evaluating health policy through both molecular and systemic lenses. My research experience spans laboratory work in metabolic systems and epidermal homeostasis, sharpening my analytical and investigative skills. By bridging these insights with academic experiences, I’ve developed a nuanced understanding of the biochemical mechanisms underlying many of today’s pressing healthcare challenges.
