Laurel Besco

Dr. Laurel Besco is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto Mississauga.   Her research focuses on in innovative approaches to regulatory design relating to environment and sustainability challenges.  Her research has been published in a variety of places, including the Journal of Environmental Law, Environmental Law Reporter, and the Journal of Environmental Policy and Planning. Currently, she is undertaking research related to aviation climate policy, plastics law and industry norms as well as on a large interdisciplinary project undertaking community-engaged innovative technology developments.
