Yuyi Long, a second-year undergraduate at the University of Toronto, is pursuing double majors in sociology and Book and Media Studies, with a minor in digital humanities. Her research focuses on the intersection of social structures and media narratives, using digital humanities technologies to contribute to sustainable societal development. Passionate about issues like gender equality, reducing inequalities, and health and well-being, she strives for a more inclusive and sustainable future. Yuyi is committed to advocacy and inclusivity, serving as a committee member for the Trans, Disabled, and Sapphic Knowledges Conference and previously advising the accessibility service at the University of Toronto to improve campus accessibility services.
